Activation of Street Tutors,
The project involves six staff members divided into teams of two who will provide real-life assistance during the night hours from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM the following morning, on Fridays and Saturdays.
They will act as social information providers, tourist assistants, or anyone wishing to use the Milano Marittima Center in a peaceful, orderly, and, above all, safe manner.
They will maintain order and decorum, interact with law enforcement, and report any issues directly to law enforcement, relieving residents of this responsibility.
The service begins on July 31st and ends at the end of August 2026, but an extension is hoped if greater contributions are raised.
The staff members have already worked at the Milano Marittima Center on several occasions in the past and are well-known and appreciated by many merchants.
They will move from one business to another, traversing the center of Milano Marittima and the surrounding areas, paying close attention to Fondazione Rosa members. Rosa Foundation members (thanks to their support and contributions, which enable the realization of this wonderful "Street Tutor" project) will also have the phone number of the person in charge of the on-site staff for any type of interaction or assistance. Staff will be able to accompany shopkeepers or staff to their cars if needed.
The goal is to provide residents with the necessary peace of mind and full security during weekend nighttime hours.
This project has a cost for the service described above of € 9,500.00.
