3M - Milano Marittima Museum. Multipurpose Exhibition Space.
The proposed location is the space at Viale Matteotti 44, where the 2025 Christmas Cultural Salon was held, hosting approximately 20 cultural events during that period. The building will have a floor area of at least 220 square meters, including storage space on the lower level.
The goal is to create a multipurpose exhibition space to house a permanent exhibition of items and documents from private collections that characterize the history of Milano Marittima, along with a selection of articles, magazines, photographs, and paintings related to the town's history.
At the same time, temporary exhibitions will be held throughout the year, featuring artists who have represented Milano Marittima or who have significant artistic expression.
The Rosa Foundation participated in a call for proposals from the Municipality of Cervia on April 18, 2026, and won it on June 30, 2026, with a total award of € 10,000.00 for the construction of the first museum with the acronym "3M - Museo Milano Marittima," pursuant to management resolution no. 854/2026, which became effective on June 30, 2026.
Temporary exhibitions will be held here and elsewhere, along with book presentations, events, meetings, and conferences.
The calendar can be consulted and updated in real time on the COMPLETED and Current Projects and Events page of the website.
